Meet The Staff

As our Association Executive, Susie brings over 20 years of experience in management, event planning, and outside sales. She earned her degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. As a former military spouse and Ombudsman at the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans, she supported families through challenging circumstances—including catastrophic events—further honing her adaptability and resourcefulness.

Raised on the Northshore, Susie understands the importance of community and the power of coming together to support one another. Working with cutting horses and growing up in Louisiana’s rich culture, she learned the importance of resilience—recognizing that even if every day isn’t perfect, there’s something good to be found in each one. Her diverse background in sales, event organization, and nonprofit collaboration makes her an invaluable asset to any association, providing both practical expertise and a spirit of service.

Outside of her professional role, Susie’s greatest joy comes from spending time with her two daughters and two granddaughters. When she’s not with family, she enjoys experiencing the outdoors on a side-by-side or 4-wheeler, and relaxing by a campfire under the stars.
